Charity Trustee Speed-Dating
Next session: Dublin City, 16th October, 5.30pm - 8pm
Our Trustee Speed-Dating is an opportunity for individuals to meet with charities and not-for-profit organisations who have board vacancies. This is the perfect event for anyone who is interested in volunteering their skills, time and expertise to a cause they are passionate about.
This is the first step on your charity board journey.
Who should attend?
This event is open to all registered Irish Charities and Not-for-Profits, and any individual looking to volunteer on a not-for-profit or charity board.
-
All attending charities or not-for-profits must be registered with either the Charities Regulator, or the Companies Registration Office. This is an opportunity to meet potential board members face-to-face, and be certain that everyone you speak to has a genuine interest in joining a charity board.
-
This event is open to any individual looking to join a not-for-profit or charity board, in a voluntary capacity. Joining a not-for-profit board is a great way to give back to a cause you are passionate about by sharing your skills, expertise, and time, as well as upskilling yourself.
What Previous Attendees Are Saying

— Kim Knowles, Trustee at BRIGHT Programme
“We have been very successful and filled both of our vacancies as a direct result of the Trustee Speed-Dating event and now have a full board. I am delighted. It was a great event and we definitely will attend the next event as we will have more vacancies next year.

“Boardmatch’s Trustee Speed-Dating was a fun and unique opportunity to connect with professionals from a wide range of backgrounds who were interested in joining a Board. The Crime Victims Helpline recruited two highly qualified and enthusiastic Directors from the event.”
